Welcome to ASAD 2022 !

Date: September 16th Fri. - 19th Mon., 2022
Venue: National Taiwan University Hospital(NTUH) International Convention Center

Message from Congress President

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the organizing committee of 16th International Congress of the Asian Society Against Dementia (ASAD) and our organization, the Taiwan Dementia Society (TDS), I am delighted to invite you to the 16th ASAD in Taiwan. The congress theme is "New era for diagnosis and treatment for dementia".

As the pandemic in Taiwan has become serious since this spring, however, hopefully, it will be gradually improved in the coming months. However, the uncertainty for large gatherings, international travel and being granted leave, the 16th ASAD International Congress will be delivered in a hybrid format, with a mixture of in-person presentations in Taipei and Tainan, Taiwan and virtual presentations from those who are unable to travel to Taiwan in September 2022.

This upcoming International Congress welcomes delegates from all over the world, especially Asia, to join us virtually or in the beautiful cities of Taipei and Tainan. Continuing our previous efforts, we will expand our core mission of linking the advances in dementia research to the alleviation of the distress of people living with dementia. The 16th International Congress of ASAD will feature the most up-to-date research, diverse topics of interest, and educational sessions with leading experts.

We hope that you will be able to join us to advance the research and education of Dementia.

Professor Cheng-Sheng Chen

Congress President for 16th International Congress of the ASAD
